Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager with exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to direct and develop their successful Project teams. The role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, direct and supervise Project Managers, Production Coordinators and drafting team to achieve customer requirements
  • Motivate, train and mentor staff
  • Chair Daily WIP meetings
  • Work closely with the sales and production team to maximise productivity
  • Quality control – including investigating any defects and suggesting solutions
  • Develop processes and procedures

You

The key to success in this role will be your exceptional leadership skills and your proactive attitude. You will also have:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leading a team to success
  • Demonstrated experience growing and developing a team
  • A process driven mindset with an aptitude for continual improvement and quality control
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • A proven capacity to work closely with multi-disciplinary interdepartmental teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge or experience within manufacturing, construction, mining or engineering industry would be an advantage
