Spinifex Recruiting are currently seeking a Senior Administration Officer for a reputable government department based in Parkes NSW 2870.

About the role

As the Senior Administration Officer your main responsibilities will include:

  • High level of administrative and executive support to the Regional Director
  • Undertaking diary management, arranging meetings, coordinating agendas / meeting papers, managing information requests, drafting email correspondence and other high-level administrative duties as required.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Responding to enquiries on behalf of the Regional Director
  • Support the effective operation of the regional office
  • Organising events including arranging venue hire, equipment, invitations and catering

This position is a temporary assignment for 3 months with a possibility of extension depending successful candidate peformance.

Monday to Friday roster – 35-hour week.

About you:

To be successful for this position it is essential that you possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a Senior or Executive Administration position
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative and executive services with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience supporting and reporting to a director or high-level boss
  • Available for an immediate start (desired)
